The Initial Environmental Statement was sent to the National Planning Agency to be reviewed in May, 2009, with an extension for comments till July 2, 2009.
The results of the Initial Environmental Statement will be introduced to the public, in collbaboration with the National Planning Agency, in June 5-8, 2009. The Statement has already been advertised and made accessible in public places, as well as on the internet.
It is hoped that the National Planning Agency's ruling regarding the Initial Environmental Statement can be handed in by the middle of August, 2009. If all goes as planned, the construction of the lines can begin by spring or summer 2010, and will be finished by 2017, allowing for some intermissions. These dates are subject to change.
